The ceremony to celebrate the anniversary was organized last Friday, the 9th of October, in MNT. It was attended by Mr. Andrei M. Cucu, CEO of LUKOIL Makedonija, who addressed the guests and presented the results of the years of efforts and the future plans for expanding the network and the service portfolio. Many high-ranking officials and representatives of the diplomatic corps congratulated the Company for its successful operation.

Since its arrival on the Macedonian market back in 2005, LUKOIL Makedonija has set new higher standards, offering Macedonian citizens fuels of much better quality and new level of service, which altogether turned LUKOIL Makedonija into a true role model for the other foreign companies investing in Macedonia. The Macedonian public saw the act of entering of the Company on the Macedonian oil market as “a breath of fresh air” and a ”driving force in attracting new investment“. In the past period, LUKOIL Makedonija has set up a network of one oil storehouse, 27 filling stations equipped to the latest global standards and a staff of 400, making the company one of the largest fuel suppliers in the country. In the course of the last 10 years on the Macedonian market, LUKOIL Makedonija has sold more than 1 million tons of petrol products. Today, this company accounts for 16% market share on the Macedonian oil market and is firmly anchored in this position, all due to the guarantee of quality and the highly professional services it delivers to its consumers.
Within the global LUKOIL Group, LUKOIL Makedonija was named the best company outside Russia twice, which is another proof that the company is seen as a synonym of the best-quality fuels and top service, both in the country and beyond.
LUKOIL Makedonija is among the top 10 big companies in the country in terms of its sales revenues. In 2014, the company has paid 45.98 million Euros in terms of taxes, levies and social security contributions.
In the past 10 years of existence on the Macedonian market, LUKOIL Makedonija has been recognizable by its success and operational achievements, the high quality of services, the expansion of its network, and finally, its financial results. This is undoubtedly the result of the efforts invested by the managerial team and the entire LUKOIL staff, who also enjoy the continuous support provided by the Government of the Republic of Macedonia.
