LUKOIL employees have been awarded national, professional and corporate awards

On the eve of the commemoration of the 70th Anniversary of the victory over fascism, at the celebration which took place in Moscow, LUKOIL employees were awarded many national, professional and corporate awards.
Mr. Vladimir Osipov, Head of the Office of the President of the Russian Federation on State Awards, and Mr. Vagit Alekperov, LUKOIL President, awarded Mr. Andrei Cucu, CEO of LUKOIL Makedonija and Head of the Balkan Interregional Organization, the Order of Friendship for his outstanding contribution to the development of both the Russian energy complex and the company.
Mr. Vladimir Vasilyev, PJSC LUKOIL VP for Taxes and Mr. Vladimir Dmitriev, General Manager of LUKOIL-Tsentrnefteprodukt, were awarded the Medal of the Order of Merit for the Fatherland, second class.
Mr. Ilshat Davletov and Sergey Shesterikov, both from Lukoil Western Siberia, were presented with the honorary title of Honoured Worker of the Russian Federation in the Oil and Gas Industry. Thirteen other employees of the Company were awarded certificates of merit and letters of acknowledgment by the Ministry of Energy.  

- The forthcoming commemoration of the 70th Anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War only serves to emphasize the importance of the act of awarding these decorations. The Soviet Union oilfield workers have contributed significantly to this noble act. The awards that have been presented to LUKOIL's employees are confirmation of the high professionalism and the importance of the energy sector employees, said Mr. Osipov.

Mr. Alekperov emphasized that the Company supports more than 2,000 veterans of the Great Patriotic War who were formerly employed at the LUKOIL Group.
