LUKOIL currently accounts for more than 2% of the global oil production and for around 1% of the proven global reserves of hydrocarbons. In 2015, LUKOIL's production exceeded 2 billion tons of fuel (both oil and gas).
Currently, more than 5,500 filling stations in 22 countries around the world operate under the LUKOIL brand. Apart from Europe, the Company is also present in Asia, Africa and the USA.
In the current year, LUKOIL is ranking 6th on Platts Top 250 Global Energy Company Rankings for 2016 published by the US-based Platts Agency. The ranking is done based on the methodology developed by Platts which focuses on several key components, such as: asset worth, revenues, profits, and return on invested capital.
The LUKOUL Group is present in the Republic of Macedonia through its daughter company "LUKOIL Makedonija DOOEL" which forms part of the Balkan interregional group of companies and deals with wholesale and retail sale of petroleum products. Currently, the Company is operating a network of 38 filling stations and one oil storehouse.
LUKOIL Makedonija is primarily focused on creating a modern and efficient retail network, increasing the quality of services offered at the filling stations, providing servicing and expanding the products portfolio to include the additional range of services, as well as improving customer loyalty. The strict control of the quality of the fuels we sell and the services we provide to our clients is the main criterion for the results of our operation.
